Guys -

Here's the RFC Beefsteak update:

The event is only one week away on Friday, Feb 9th at 6:30pm

Reservations are doing great, and we have decided to increase our  
limit from 150 and we will now take 190 reservations.
We currently have 17 tables of 8 (that is 136 people) and 31  
individual tickets sold for a total of 167 tickets sold.

If you have purchased a table, please let us know the names of the  
people you are bringing so we can have them on our list at the door.

On the helping front...
Kevin McElroy is going to coordinate the Designated Driver  
Refreshment Stand for which he needs donations of:
2 coolers of soda
2 cases of non-alcoholic beer - ie -Beck's non-alcohol or O'Doul's
1-2 cases of water

We also need people for the following:
- working the door - 6:30 - 7:30 - 3 more people
- working the door - 7:30 - 8:30 - 4 more people
- working the setup - 5pm - 6:30pm - 1 more person
- working the clean-up - 8:30am - 10:30am the morning after - 4 more  
people WE NEED TO CLEAN UP SO THEY HAVE A CYO BASKETBALL GAME AT NOON  
ON THE 10TH
- working the party to keep stuff in the snack baskets, etc... - 1  
more person

Michael Caponiti has arrange for cabs to take people home who need  
the help starting at 10pm.

Hey guys -

Thanks again for a great party.  We are still calculating the net net  
from last night, but it looks like we set a new record for this  
event.  Your continued generosity pays for athletics at the school.

Father Dan found a black blazer with Saab keys in the pocket during  
clean-up this morning.  Ed Holleran has the jacket and keys - so give  
him a call if you are missing them.

Fathers Club,

Thanks for the donations of clothing brought to the Beefsteak Dinner.  We're so grateful for the many items received to be distributed by the 8th graders on their Midnight Run THIS FRIDAY (March 2nd).

We're still facing some critical shortages, and are hoping that these items may still be languishing in the closets of those that didn't have a chance to clean out and bring their donations on the night of the Beefsteak Dinner.

8th Grade Midnight Run DESPARATELY NEEDS:

Men's Jeans or Corduroy Pants
Sneakers, Work Boots or Soft-Soled Shoes
Men's Winter Hats and Gloves

If you have any of the above items to spare, please send them in to the Middle School or Grammar School by THURSDAY, MARCH 1.  Supplies not rec'd through donations will have to be purchased using the 8th grade class funds.

Thanks so much for your support of this wonderful outreach project!
