RFC - Welcome to a new year

Hey Resurrection Fathers, welcome to a new year.  The summer was  
great, and our children are gearing up for school this week.

As you know the RFC has two major events and only two, and these two  
events provide the budget our Middle School Sports and capital  
improvements around the sports program.

The first event is the Carnival, and that is on October 13th.  The  
second event is the Beefsteak Dinner, and that is on February 1st.   
Please mark these dates on your calendars.

We need your help to make the days a success.  For the carnival, we  
need at least 30 of you to help man the booths at various times.   
Also, we need your donations for raffle prizes.  Then we will need  
you to buy and sell raffle tickets.  Lastly, we'll need you to attend  
with your children!  So, at this point, please let me know (A) if you  
can donate something for the raffle; and (B) if you can work that  
day.  I'll be back to you in a couple of weeks to let you know how  
the donations are going, and will give instructions on how to sell  
raffle tickets.
