RFC Beefsteak follow-up

I trust all hangovers are finally behind you all.  From the word I got  
from many of our wives, Saturday was a tough day in the greater-Rye  
area.  I'm convinced that our cheering the Giants was directly  
responsible for the amazing game on Sunday (sorry Andy!) - I'm still  
giddy over the victory.

The tally is still coming in, but the gross from the night was $21,720  
(we are still expecting a few checks so the gross will tick up a  
bit).  Our expenses are looking to be about 1/2 of that, so we are  
going to net a little more than $10,000 toward sports at our school.   
Nice job all!  Thanks again to all who helped make the night another  
great success.  If we combine the over $10k from Friday with the over  
$16k from the Carnival in the fall, we raised nearly $27k to support  
sports at the school!

I have a couple of raffle prizes at my house.  I'll contact you  
directly to arrange hand-off of these.

Some items for you guys to stay on top of:
1)  The Father Daughter dance is on March 7th for you and your 3-8th  
grade daughters.
2)  The Auction is April 4th - we need your help on donating prizes,  
etc...  (talk to your wives...)
3)  The Resurrection Foundation is still looking for PARTICIPATION in  
the Annual Fund.  We have participation from approximately 1/4 of  
families.  We can do better than that.  No amount is too small.  We  
need the Participation Rate to be much higher because that effects our  
ability to solicit grants, etc... from third parties.  Again, no  
amount is too small, so if you have not pledged a gift to the annual  
fund, please do so.  Watch for mailings and emailings from the  
Foundation....
4)  They are still collecting clothes for the Midnight Run.  Take  
lightly worn clothes (sweaters, sweatshirts, etc...) that are  
collecting dust in your closet, and drop them off at school.
