RFC - Updates for a New Year

Hey Resurrection Fathers.  Happy New Years, and welcome back home to  
those away.

We have 4 things to update you on, and need some help...

1.  The Beefsteak Dinner is Feb 1st.  That is not that far away.  If  
you want to help organize, please drop me a note.  We'll start the  
detailed work on this party next week.

2.  Next week there is an event being put on by the PTO - Mary Ronan  
is coming to talk about "How to talk to our children about difficult  
topics" on Thursday, Jan 10th @ 7pm.  We need you to:
      - Attend - it is in the Middle School Cafeteria - there are  
flyers going around about this.  Our wives know about it...
      - Donate drinks for the night - we committed the RFC to donate  
soft drinks, beer, and wine for the group.  (NOTE: any left-overs will  
be kept and used the night of the beefsteak)

3.  Fathers of 3rd - 6th grade girls, save March 7th for the 1st  
Annual RFC Father's Daughter Dance.  The best part of this one, is  
some of our wives are doing all of the organization for us.  We are  
running this one for the fun of it, and it will not be a fund raiser.   
Any fees we charge will be to cover costs only.

4.  Thanks for our Mike & Mike (not Greenberg & Golic, but Caponiti &  
Curran) with an assist from Phil Semprevivo in helping make progress  
toward a new scoreboard and new side baskets in the middle school  
gym.  It has been slow going, but we are seeing progress.
