RFC - Start of Year message

Gents -

Here is a quick start of year message.  I hope the kids are having fun  
at school.

Here is the highlights for this year:
* The Carnival will be on Oct 11th.  Hutch & I will be co-chairing  
this event.  We will need your help.  Three things to get started on:
           1 - Save the date, and get prepared to work some of the  
day.  We want to stop having the kids doing the work on the event date.
           2 - We need raffle prizes, anything you want to donate
           3 - We will have a Carnival planning meeting soon (read:  
within the next 2 weeks) - watch for the invite.
* The Beefsteak Dinner is scheduled for March Madness - March 27th.   
Save the date.  No excuses...  Louis McIntyre & Ed Collins will be co- 
chairs for this event.
* The Father Daughter dance still needs to be scheduled.  It will be  
in the Winter / Spring (we are still working on the date) and Eric  
Gies & Bob Horne will be co-chairs for this event.
* We are going to have membership dues of $20 to be a member of the  
Father's Club.  This will be collected at back-to-school night with  
your updated e-mail address.

If you no longer want to be on this list, please let me know and I  
will take you off.
