RFC - Beefsteak - Special NCAA Auction Rules & Hoops Contest

We are in the home stretch.  The brackets are being announced in a few  
hours.  Syracuse has finally lost in the Big East Tourney.

Last night 5 different people said they were coming...  They were not  
on the list of reservations!!!  Don't miss out.  We need your  
reservation by Tuesday so we can confirm the number for the caterer.

You can pay at the door.

$80 for a ticket
$640 for a table for 8 + a bottle of wine

We still need volunteers for setup, working the door, and clean-up.

> -          teams will be auctioned off by the capable  
> representatives of famed auction house Dewey, Sellem, & Howe.
> -          There will be 48 teams auctioned minus the losers of  
> Friday day games
> -          Teams that are currently playing while auction is  
> occurring will be sold as a twofer – the purchaser will own the  
> winner of the game
> -          Auction will proceed from lowest seeds to highest seeds
> -          Payout from auction will be as follows 1/3 of pool to go  
> to RFC. 1/3 of pool will go to the four teams that make the final  
> four. 1/3 of the pool will go to the owner of eventual tourney winner.
> -          HELPFUL HINTS for 1st time bidders. Obviously low seeded  
> teams will get small bids. Look at your brackets and try to find a  
> team that might make the final four and take a shot. The highest  
> ranked teams will generate the largest interest. There are a lot of  
> teams that can make the dance this year. Pool your resources –  
> perhaps you don’t want to pay too much $$ but really like a certain
