RFC Beefsteak Update - Oct 23rd

Planning for the Beefsteak dinner on 23rd is well underway.

We have a great raffle shaping up (see list below).  We could always  
use more prizes so if you want to donate something, please let me  
know.  Thanks again to those who donated already!

I have started taking reservations and have sold some tables (8  
people) or individual tickets.  Tickets are $80 and tables are $640  
(and you get a bottle of wine).  Please confirm you are coming by  
sending me a note.  I'll add you on the list.  You can pay at the door.

Please start selling raffle tickets - $10 each.  If you sell tickets,  
please send me a list of names / phone numbers.  You can bring a check  
to the event to cover the cost of the tickets.  All checks are to be  
made out to the Resurrection Foundation.  I'll reach out to some  
eighth graders to fill out the tickets with the names you provide.

We are thinking about the entertainment for the night (beyond the  
basics - beer, steak, wine, pool, ping pong, etc...) and are  
considering a 50/50 Texas Hold 'em tournament.  If you have experience  
running a tournament like this let me know so we can see if this will  
work as we are thinking...

Finally, a couple of you have mentioned you'd like to help with the  
event.  Thanks and I'll be reaching out to you soon with things we  
need to do.  If you want to help out, let me know!
