<HTML><BODY style="word-wrap: break-word; -khtml-nbsp-mode: space; -khtml-line-break: after-white-space; ">Gents - <DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV><SPAN class="Apple-style-span">First - thanks for those who said they can help and donate for the Carnival on Oct 12th (yup - less than a month from now). I have been collecting your responses and we will start putting together a firm schedule the week before the Carnival. Hopefully more of you know your children's activity schedules and can commit to helping working the day of the Carnival. For those of us with older children, you can work side-by-side with them, they'll love it, and you'll have some fun too. <B>We still need a bunch of volunteers to make the day a success again</B>.</SPAN></DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>Second - we need more donations of things to raffle off. Some suggestions - tickets to sporting events, gift certificates to dinners or stores in town, wine, etc...</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>Third - in partnership with the CYO we have agreed to get new backboards and a new scoreboard for the school gym. The CYO is providing some of the funding ($4000), and the RFC is covering the balance of the cost. Your generosity in the past at the carnivals and the beefsteak dinner has enabled us to make this donation.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV><B>Fourth - we need two of you to volunteer own the scoreboard / backboard project. The two of you will find and select the backboards and scoreboards, arrange the purchase, and coordinate the installation. </B>Hopefully we can get the volunteers in place before back-to-school night, so this will be one less thing we are asking of you guys that night. </DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>Thanks,</DIV><DIV>Tom</DIV></BODY></HTML>
